Achievements

In October 2023, Team Code Warriors had an opportunity to be one of the presenters at the Ontario FLL Kickoff conference at Bayview Glen School. 

A journey from being a rookie team last year at the conference and being one of the presenters is very humbling. Three of the students took sessions on Advanced Robotics at the conference.

In December 2023, our dynamic team of seven talented members, aged 9 to 13, participated in the FIRST Lego League competition. Against 32 formidable teams, our students not only triumphed at the Regional Tournament but clinched the esteemed 2nd Place Champions Award. Their impressive display of innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills was nothing short of extraordinary, securing them a well-deserved spot in the Provincial level competition. We're immensely proud of our team's achievements, and eagerly anticipate their continued success at the Provincial competition.

January 2022: Our talented group of students participated in the prestigious World Scratch Coding Olympiad organized by the International Kids Coding Competition. Their exceptional skills and creativity led them to secure top ranks in Canada, earning recognition for their outstanding performance. Additionally, they won 3rd Place, International and  Outstanding Script Award in the year 2022, showcasing their prowess in Scratch coding.

In August 2022, our team, consisting of six members aged 9 to 12, registered for the FIRST Lego League competition. Competing against 31 other teams, they showcased their problem-solving skills, teamwork, and innovative ideas. Their hard work paid off as they proudly secured the Champions Award, attaining 3rd place. This recognition also qualified them to participate in the provincial level competition, a testament to their exceptional abilities. 

On January 15th, 2023 our dedicated team represented Code Warriors at the provincial level competition, competing against 76 teams. At the provincials, the team's determination to become better and deliver their best, they gave an outstanding performance and garnered the esteemed 1st Place Robot Design Award across Ontario. This achievement reflects their meticulous approach, technical expertise, and creativity in building and programming their robot.

May 2023: One of our exceptional team member participated in the 31st annual Elementary Halton Skills Competition, specifically the LEGO Robotics Challenge representing his school. It was a highly competitive event, with an impressive participation of 60 schools. We are overjoyed to announce that his team emerged victorious, securing 1st place in their age group.

This outstanding accomplishment is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and skills our team member possesses.

May 2023: Team CodeWarriors has qualified for this year's Canada Cup Innovation Edition! Our team had the opportunity to showcase our innovative solution and participate in the tournament. With a mindset focused on sharing our innovation, learning from teams across Canada, and having a blast, we concluded this FLL superpowered season on a high note.
